We're an LA-based couple with two obsessions: photography and fine art. Between those two worlds, Original Art on Things was born — and the name wasn't an accident.

We chose something plain on purpose. Something that told you exactly what it was and nothing more. Not a brand name. Not a logo waiting to go on a hat. Just original art, on things. Because we were never interested in selling you a brand.

We've watched the world turn into a sea of walking billboards — the same drops, the same limited editions, the same logos on everyone's chest. Look around. Everyone's in uniform. We fight against that.

True expression transcends the confines of brands. It's not about the label. It's about the essence of who you are — and there is no better way to reflect that than through the art you choose to wear.

As curious artists, we're drawn to the edges: the countercultures, the subcultures, the communities that refuse to be flattened into a trend. The dancers. The dreamers. The psychedelic explorers. The LGBTQ community. The yogis. The skaters. The people who treat their body as a canvas and their wardrobe as a conversation. We design for all of them — because our differences are what make the world an interesting place to live in.

Every piece in our catalog is original artwork. Not licensed. Not stock. Not a graphic someone found and slapped on a blank. We create the work ourselves and collaborate with independent artists we believe in. When you wear something from us, you're wearing something that started as an actual creative act by real people.

We're also committed to making thoughtfully. Every product is made to order — no overproduction, no waste, no boxes of unsold inventory sitting in a warehouse. It takes a little longer. We think it's worth it.

This isn't a big company. It's two people in Los Angeles who believe deeply in art, in individuality, and in the idea that what you put on your body says something about the life you want to live. We built this because we wanted something for ourselves that didn't exist. Turns out other people were looking for the same thing.
