What makes Original Art on Things different from other apparel stores?
Every design in our store is an original artwork created by a real artist. We don't use stock imagery, licensed clip art, or AI-generated designs. When you buy from us you're wearing something genuinely unique — a piece of original art that exists nowhere else in the world of mass-market apparel.
Who creates the artwork on your products?
All artwork is created in-house by our own artists. Every piece in our catalog begins as an original painting or illustration before it becomes a wearable design or print. The art comes first — the product is just the canvas.
Do you release new designs regularly?
Yes. We add new original artwork and collections on an ongoing basis. Each new release is tied to a specific cultural niche, community, or artistic theme. Follow us on Instagram or sign up for our newsletter to be the first to know when new work drops.
Can I buy just the artwork as a print without it being on apparel?
Yes. Many of our original artworks are available as standalone art prints in addition to apparel. Check individual product listings or browse our prints collection for available options.

What products do you sell?
We sell eco-friendly apparel basics — primarily t-shirts and hoodies — featuring original artwork. We also offer art prints. Our product line is intentionally focused on quality basics that let the art speak for itself.
What materials are your garments made from?
Our apparel is printed on sustainable, eco-friendly basics. We prioritize organic cotton and responsibly sourced materials across our product line. Specific material composition is listed on each individual product page.
Are your products truly sustainable?
Yes. Sustainability is a core value, not a marketing claim. We print on eco-friendly basics and fulfill through a responsible print-on-demand production partner that prints each item only when it's ordered — meaning zero overproduction and no warehouse full of unsold inventory sitting in landfill. Every item is made specifically for you when you order it.
How do I know what size to order?
Each product page includes a size guide specific to that garment. We strongly recommend consulting the size guide before ordering since sizing can vary between different product styles. If you're between sizes, our listings include guidance on fit.
Are the colors in the product photos accurate?
We work hard to represent our artwork accurately in product photography. However, screen calibration varies and printed colors may differ slightly from what you see on your monitor. The artwork is reproduced with the highest quality printing available through our production partner.
Ordering & Production
How long does it take for my order to be produced?
Because every item is printed to order specifically for you, production typically takes 3–7 business days before your order ships. This is not a warehouse operation — your item is created fresh when you place your order.
Can I make changes to my order after placing it?
We begin processing orders quickly. If you need to make a change, contact us immediately. We cannot guarantee changes can be made once production has begun, but we will do our best to accommodate requests made promptly.
Do you offer custom or personalized designs?
We do not currently offer custom design services. All available designs are original artworks from our catalog. Follow us on Instagram for updates on new releases.
Shipping
Where do you ship?
We ship worldwide. Our production and fulfillment partner operates facilities in multiple countries, which means your order is typically produced and shipped from the facility closest to your location.
How long does shipping take?
Domestic US orders typically arrive within 3–7 business days after production is complete. International shipping times vary by destination and typically range from 7–21 business days. You will receive a tracking number when your order ships.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and the items in your order. We offer competitive shipping rates and occasionally run free shipping promotions — sign up for our newsletter or follow us on Instagram to be notified.
Will I receive a tracking number?
Yes. Once your order has been produced and handed to the carrier you will receive an email with your tracking information.
Do I have to pay customs or import duties on international orders?
International orders may be subject to customs fees, import duties, or taxes depending on your country's regulations. These fees are the responsibility of the buyer and are not included in our product or shipping prices. We recommend checking your local customs policies before ordering.
Returns & Exchanges
What is your return policy on apparel?
Because all of our apparel items are printed to order specifically for you, we are only able to accept exchanges on apparel in the following situations:
- The item you received does not match what you ordered
- The item arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect
We are unable to accept returns or exchanges for sizing issues or change of mind on apparel items. Please consult the size guide on each product page carefully before ordering.
What is your return policy on non-apparel items (art prints, etc.)?
We are unable to accept returns or exchanges on non-apparel items unless they arrive damaged or you receive the wrong item.
What do I do if my item arrives damaged or defective?
Contact us immediately with your order number and photos of the damage or defect. We will work quickly to resolve the issue with a replacement or appropriate remedy. Do not discard damaged items before contacting us.
What do I do if I received the wrong item?
Contact us with your order number and a photo of the item you received. We will arrange for the correct item to be sent to you at no additional cost.
How do I initiate an exchange?
Contact us and include your order number, a description of the issue, and photos where applicable. Our team will respond within 1–2 business days with next steps.
Art Prints
What format are your art prints available in?
Art prints are available in standard sizes listed on each product page. Prints are produced on high-quality archival paper designed to preserve color and detail over time.
Are art prints signed by the artist?
Availability of signed prints varies by release. Check individual product listings for details on whether a signed edition is available.
Are your prints limited edition?
Some releases are produced as limited editions. These will be clearly labeled as such on the product page. Once a limited edition is sold out it will not be reprinted.

Do you work with artists or accept design submissions?
We are an artist-driven brand and our catalog features original work created by our own team. We do not currently accept unsolicited design submissions. This may change in the future — follow us on Instagram for updates.
Do you offer wholesale or bulk ordering?
We do not currently offer wholesale or bulk pricing. All orders are fulfilled through our standard print-on-demand process.
